Te-Won Lee is the CEO of TDK AISight and a globally recognized expert in AI algorithms (IEEE Fellow). He founded SOFTEYE in 2023 to develop low-power AI glasses chips and sensors; the company was acquired by TDK in June 2025.
He previously served as SVP and Head of Custom SoC at Samsung and as President of Qualcomm Korea. Earlier, he founded and led SoftMax, which was acquired by Qualcomm. He was also a faculty member at UCSD and earned his Diploma and PhD from TU Berlin, with research experience as a Max Planck Institute Fellow.
